Hand crafted capote robe coat jacket made with an ORIGINAL Hudson's Bay 4 Point striped wool blanket. It has a large hood with long extensions, two front pockets, and a waist belt.
It has it's original Hudson's Bay label and shows it's "4 points" sewn black stripes. It's a robe style without buttons where you tuck the front inner side into the front outer side and tie it all up with the belt.
This doesn't look like it was worn much. It's clean with no rips, tears, repairs, or stains. The stitching is strong and secure. No musty basement or perfume smells. There's a small 1/2" fabric cut at the back bottom area I'll let you stitch up.
This robe has been kept well over the years and is ready for wear.
There's no size label as it's handmade but the previous owner was a woman who said she was a "Medium" but I'm not certain so I'll provide measurements taken from the outside and laid flat:
- Chest, from armpit to armpit - 21 inches (42" circumference).
- Shoulders - measured across from upper seam to seam - 21 inches.
- Sleeve - from top of sleeve to sleeve end - 23 inches.
- Sleeve - from armpit of sleeve to sleeve end - 22 inches.
- Length taken from top at neck to bottom of robe - 37 inches.
- Bottom edge measured all the way around - 58 inches.
- Hood width is 22 inches
- Hood height is 18 inches
- Two wool tassels hang down from hood by 38 inches.
