It is made of a very warm blend of gentle black, grey and white Calico Cotton color for this busy work time of year with longer darkening sunsets. The most accurate color is where I show you hem closeup and patterning square. Expect a very warm, homey, all around, tiny calico color combo. The Petticoat is strongly machine stitched construction which does not show due to the color combinations. The upper drawstring channel is double stitched down to prevent rollover at waist when wearing and working, with a long black grosgrain ribbon with good "bite" that stays tied all day without loosening annoyingly. It is long and very full skirting to swish and sashay about and will accept a rear bum pad for lift if you need body help!
It measures 42" long for taller gals or if you wear heels, and petticoats float better at this length not sticking to anything impeding motion. Laid flat pulled gathered very tight I get 12" doubled gives you a very slender 24 inch waist, (I myself adult woman am 27" waist all my life) and relaxed out yet very full with sufficient gathers I measure 20-22" when doubled allows for  a 44" waist ---medium/large well covered,with still plenty of fullness. It has a the correct pocket slit on one side only. There is a nice one inch plenty hem to drape lovely on the body.
